Open Access Week
International Open Access Week October 21 – 24, 2024
“Open Access” for research results has many advantages for researchers. Research results are accessible worldwide for free and can easily be shared. Collaborating in international or interdisciplinary teams is eneased and research results are easier to find.
As part of the "International Open Access Week", we offer various information and advice services on the topic of Open Access publishing and present the Open Access publication services of Wuerzburg Unversity Library.
In eight Coffee Lectures (Monday to Thursday at 12:00 and 12:30), we will provide brief and compact information on the following topics:
*Open Access *Funding *Identifier *Predatory Journals *Creative Commons *Self-archiving
In addition, you are welcome to book a personal consultation appointment for the Open Access Week at any time.
In eight Coffee Lectures online, we provide brief and compact input on specific topics. In 15 minutes (perhaps over a cup of coffee), you can find out all you need to know about Open Access publishing! After our short lectures, we will be there to answer your questions. The Coffee Lectures will take place on 21, 22, 23 and 24 October 2024 at 12:00 and 12:30 respectively as Zoom meetings.
Of course, participation in the Coffee Lectures is free of charge. Registration is not necessary - simply attend via Zoom!
