The most important databases for chemists and pharmacists are Science Citation Index Expanded, SciFinder and PubMed.
Web of Science / Science Citation Index Expanded allows you to search the reference lists of publications containing related articles.
In CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform you can search for structures and reactions directly.
PubMed is the most comprehensive medical database; in addition to purely medical information, it also contains information relevant to pharmacy.
