DIN Standards

DIN, the German Institute for Standardization (Deutsches Institut für Normung e.V.) based in Berlin, is the platform for standardisation in Germany.

The Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt) provides access to the current DIN standards and the guidelines of the Association of German Engineers (VDI) via the Perinorm database. The database can be accessed via the THWS university network. If you are not a THWS student or employee, you can view the standards and guidelines on screen at the THWS . THWS students and employees can also save and print them.

Interlibrary loans are not possible for DIN standards. They can be ordered and purchased via the Beuth Verlag GmbH (complete list of all offices issuing standards).
